Privacy Policy.
This policy explains what Vishwas Orthopaedic Hospital collects when you use this website or book a VIP OPD slot, why we collect it, and what we do and do not do with it. It applies to this website only. Information you give at the hospital in person is governed by our clinical record-keeping obligations.

What we ask for
When you book a VIP OPD slot we collect your name, phone number, age and email address, the appointment date and session you choose, and anything you type into the notes field. When you send an enquiry through the contact form, we collect your name, phone number, area of concern and your message.
Analytics: This website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate website usage, including pages viewed, approximate location, device type and referral source. Google Analytics may place cookies such as _ga and send usage information to Google. We do not send names, phone numbers, form entries, appointment details, health information or payment information to Google Analytics, and we do not use Analytics data for medical decisions or personalised advertising. You can block or delete Analytics cookies through your browser settings. Google processes Analytics data under its own privacy policy.
Your browser may also store a small amount of data locally to remember that you have already seen the opening animation; that preference stays on your device.
What we never see
Payments are handled entirely by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. Card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs, bank credentials and OTPs are entered on Razorpay’s systems and are never transmitted to, stored by, or visible to this hospital.
What we receive back from Razorpay is limited to a payment reference, the amount, and whether the payment succeeded or failed. Razorpay processes your payment data under its own privacy policy.
Why we hold it
Booking details are used to reserve your slot, to confirm it to you and to the consulting doctor, and to contact you if the appointment has to move. Enquiry details are used to answer your enquiry.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We do not send marketing messages to people who have only booked an appointment.
Information is shared outside the hospital only where it is necessary to deliver the service — with Razorpay to process the payment, and with WhatsApp or email providers where you have chosen to receive confirmation that way — or where the law requires it.
Clinical records
Anything you tell us about a symptom, an injury or a condition is treated as confidential medical information. It is seen by the treating doctor and the clinical staff involved in your care, and by nobody else.
Clinical records created during a consultation are retained in line with medical record-keeping requirements in India. Booking and payment records are retained as long as needed for accounting and tax purposes.
What you can ask for
You may ask us what information we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete booking and enquiry information that we are not legally required to keep. Ask us in either of these ways:
If you would rather not submit anything online at all, you are welcome to call the hospital and book by phone.
