Do I need an appointment?
An appointment is recommended so that consultation time is protected, but injuries and urgent problems are seen as they arrive.
What should I bring?
Any previous X-rays, MRI or CT films and reports, a list of your current medicines, and details of diabetes, blood pressure or heart conditions.
Can I send my X-ray on WhatsApp first?
Yes. Sending images in advance helps us plan the consultation, though an examination is still needed before advice can be given.
When is the wait shortest?
OPD runs Monday to Saturday, 10:30–13:30 in the morning and 17:30–19:30 in the evening. The start of either session is usually the quietest. If you need a fixed time rather than a queue, the VIP OPD slot reserves a confirmed appointment time for you.
Do you see injuries at night or on Sunday?
Fracture and trauma care is available round the clock, including outside OPD hours. Please telephone before you travel so that the team, the X-ray room and, if it is needed, the theatre can be made ready for your arrival.
Will I definitely need an operation?
No. A large share of bone and joint problems settle with medication, injection, bracing, plaster or physiotherapy, and that is always considered first. Where surgery genuinely is the better option, the reasoning, the implant, the risks and the recovery time are explained to you before any decision is taken.
Which language can I speak in?
Gujarati, Hindi and English are all spoken at the hospital, so please use whichever you are most comfortable with when describing your problem.
